Ester  (Grade: 1)

Esta is a 12 year old girl that lives with her 85 year old grandmother. The grandmother has lost both of her sons and has been left to raise their children. She is elderly and cannot sustain this. Esta is at the age where she is doing everything to keep the home going. She is also at the age where she could be married off as a child bride. She awaits someone to change her destiny and provide for her a future. If she could board locally at the Joy school then she could still return home and continue to care for her grandmother in the community. This is a desperate hour for Esta. Please help!
